SIM-03 Dual PIR and Microwave Detector with Anti-Masking and Pet Immunity

The SIM-03 is a dual-technology motion detector combining passive infrared (PIR) and microwave Doppler sensing with advanced anti-masking protection. Designed for high-security indoor installations, it ensures accurate motion detection while filtering out false alarms caused by pets, reflections, or tampering attempts.

Detection Technology

The detector uses a quad-element PIR sensor to detect thermal changes, while the microwave Doppler module verifies the movement. This combination dramatically reduces false alarms. Additionally, the anti-masking circuit monitors any object placed too close to the detector, triggering a separate alarm.

Anti-Masking Protection

The anti-mask function detects obstruction attempts at a configurable distance (0.4 m or 0.8 m) and generates a dedicated trouble signal. This ensures system integrity even when the main alarm is disarmed.

Pet Immunity

SIM-03 supports pet immunity for animals up to 25 kg (configurable to 15 kg). This makes it suitable for households or offices with dogs, cats, or other pets without compromising detection accuracy.

Adjustment and Testing

• Selectable pulse count (1 = high, 2 = low sensitivity)

Mounting and Compatibility

SIM-03 is mountable on walls, corners, or ceilings (bracket optional). Installation height: 1.8–2.4 m. Uses 22 AWG or thicker wires. The detector features separate outputs for alarm, anti-masking, and tamper circuits. Fully compatible with standard alarm control panels.
